Last night we got to take a quick break from our album crunch time of the year (yes, Christmas deadlines are next week!) at the Puttin’ on the Ritz event at the Dillard’s in Hulen Mall. The cosmetics department was holding an annual event for their VIP customers and this year’s theme was the Roaring 20’s. You know what that means – we had to be there to do some fun, themed photos for the staff and their guests! The mens department was kind enough to give us a small corner for our green screen set-up and a lot of the staff was already in costume when we arrived – we just added a few boas and props to set the scene. A huge thanks to Whitney, Chris, Rich and Tory for getting us involved in the event!
Here is a photo of our setup – since we had limited space we just used one main light and a small light on the backdrop (it is on the floor behind the table). Fortunately, the lighting was perfect for the back alley we used for a background – anyone recognize that alley :)? If you schedule a green screen session in our studio we use 3 or 4 lights so it takes up just a little more room.
