We finished off our weekend with the very emotional and touching wedding of Kristen & Logan at the Piazza in the Village. For a couple who met while shoveling manure for Habitat for Humanity, they sure clean up well :). They first met as undergrad students at Baylor, so it is only fitting that they will start their married life back at Baylor to start the Master’s degrees. We’d like to thank Kristen & Logans families for making us feel so welcome and for sharing such an important moment in their lives with us. Also, a big thank you goes out to Laura and the crew out at Piazza in the Village, they were wonderful to work with (as always!), and to Rod at DFWParties.com for getting the party going!

We started off our Memorial Day weekend with a bang – we got to shoot Lisa & Calin’s stunning evening wedding at Piazza in the Village last night. Not only did we get to work with Michelle & David and the wonderful crew at the Piazza, Lisa paid so much attention to all the small details that it was a feast for the eyes. I have to say, I am loving the bling-y, sparkly weddings we have been shooting lately :). Huge thanks to Kim with Timeless Elegance Weddings for keeping everything running on time (and making it all look gorgeous!), Fitz with The DJ Flip for keeping the party going, The Dallas Black Dance Academy for getting the dance rocking, and especially to Lisa & Calin and their families for including us in their fabulous day! Congratulations and enjoy Bali!
As I started to put the finishing touches on Jennifer & Robert’s wedding album this morning, I suddenly realized that I never actually blogged their wedding! They are a gallery on our website, but their beautiful wedding at the Piazza in the Village never made it to the blog. I’d like to say I don’t know how that happened, but I know exactly how – I am just way behind on blogging. Without further ado, here it is!
She was a breath-taking vision, with her hair flowing and the light glinting off of the beads on her hand-beaded gown. Robert wondered one more time how he had managed to get so lucky. Jennifer smiled and looked up at him with that little tilt of her chin that is reserved just for him, and they both knew that everything in their world was finally coming together.
We had the great privilege of photographing Jennifer & Robert’s wedding last weekend at the Piazza in the Village, and it was a beautiful event for two beautiful people. Thank you for making us a part of your day, we loved every minute of it!
