It has been ages since we did a Photo Booth Fun post and since I never got around to blogging Holly & Blake’s wedding or Trash the Dress sessions from last fall, theirs is the first one up!  Remember how hot it was last summer?  And then remember how it suddenly started raining one Saturday night in October?  October 8th right around 7PM?  Yes, that is the exact moment we headed outside after Holly & Blake’s ceremony to do some photos in front of First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, and we were greeted with giant rain drops.  Fortunately, Holly was a totally laid back bride with a fantastic sense of humor, so rain pouring down on their reception on the rooftop of Reata didn’t phase her one bit – she just danced in the rain.

Due to the impending rain we weren’t able to set the photo booth up in the nice, spacious (uncovered) area it was supposed to go so squeezed it into the entryway of the dome.  Fortunately, the tight quarters didn’t seem to bother any of Holly & Blake’s guests :).

As Brittany & Rick prepare to leave for their honeymoon in Greece, we wanted to post a few quick pics to the blog. There were so many to choose from that it was tough to decide on just 3 (although we will be posting a few pics from their photobooth later today).  Brittany & Rick tied the knot at the Stonegate Mansion last night in a beautiful sunset ceremony – and everyone knows that we can’t pass up a good sunset :).

Finally, a blog post! It is that time of year when we are busy finishing up with our spring weddings and starting to prepare for a busy fall and winter season, and the blog somehow got lost in the process. I used to think that it was an anomaly for me, but I now accept the fact that at certain times of the year, I will fall behind on blogging. With several dozen weddings and other sessions in the blog queue (not to mention about 10 from last year that never made it to the blog), I am starting off with Michelle & Bugsy’s wedding.

Michelle & Bugsy didn’t have an ordinary cake cutting – it started off with a sword-fight with the cake knife and server, then Bugsy decided to smear cake on his own face before anyone else got the chance.  I don’t know what was funnier, the fact that he did it, or Michelle’s reaction.

Can you blame Michelle for looking a little skeptical as Bugsy starts to feed her cake?

What a better way to end the night that a quick kiss in the Photo Booth? Lucky for us there was a mirror on the wall right next to it!
