Rose and Scott have an interesting story – they have been married twice!  Shortly after Scott proposed they started planning their dream wedding, and then Scott’s company threw them for a loop.  He was being transferred to England for a year, but Rose couldn’t go with him unless they were married.  So, on a beautiful Saturday morning in April 2011 we met up with them, their parents and their pastor at the Japanese Garden to photograph their “elopement” ceremony.

Well, it was meant to be a bit of a secret so we never breathed a word of it to anyone, but apparently the news got out over the course of the year so we are excited to finally be able to show off some of their photos – especially 2 of our favorite infrared photos.  Fast forward to a year later, and we were back at Marty Leonard Chapel to photograph Rose’s bridals for their upcoming “official” wedding.  Btw, LOVE Marty Leonard Chapel – for anyone looking for a venue for their ceremony, it is stunningly beautiful and almost impossible to take a bad photo there :).

We thought we would share a few photos from Rose & Scott’s first ceremony and Rose’s Bridal before we post the rest of their wedding – you can also read their Love Story in this month’s Bridal Section of the Star-Telegram.  Enjoy!

Rose’s gorgeous Bridals at Fort Worth’s Marty Leonard Chapel:

What do you get when you have beautiful light, stunning locations, and and wonderful couple?  Haily & Andy’s Engagement Session! Not only did we get lucky with having a great couple to work with, we got really lucky that they wanted some of our favorite locations AND the light was absolutely amazing the evening of their session (have I used enough adjectives yet?)  All that plus we had plenty of opportunities to play with the infrared camera and got to do some fun silhouettes at sunset – totally made our weekend!

We had the great pleasure of photographing Whitney & Mark’s wedding yesterday so we are excited to finally be able to post a few of Whitney’s Bridal photos. Whitney models and competes in pageants (well, she competed in pageants before she got married) and we had a fantastic time doing her bridals – she wanted something just a little different and she was game to try anything! We did a few pics with the chapel length veil she wore at the wedding, then we did some with a gorgeous birdcage veil from Emma’s Bridal Boutique, then we did some with no veil at all.  We loved each and every look, so we are showing off all three.

Congratulations, Whitney & Mark!
