It seems lately that whenever we plan a portrait session around sunset, we end up with a boring dull sky with no color and no clouds. Well, last weekend the odds were in our favor – we had an amazing sunset at the Dallas Arboretum for Anika & Frank’s sunset wedding!

Samantha & Austin were married last night in a beautiful sunset ceremony at the Dallas Arboretum.  Everything was perfect – from the weather to the flowers to the vintage Bentley that whisked them away at the end of the night.  We know that Samantha and Austin will have a life filled with love and laughter and we wish them all the best.  Thank you for making us part of your amazing day!

And a wedding sneak peek would not be complete without a photobooth photo!

Jeanna & Brian were married last weekend so we can finally show off her lovely bridal photos.  It was a surprisingly hot and sunny day at the Dallas Arboretum, but that didn’t phase Jeanna one bit. We had already postponed her bridal session once and we were doing it that day, rain or shine.  It was the end of the Tulips in Bloom season and we spent a lot of time dodging the other guests at the Arboretum, but we got some amazing images and we are excited to finally be able to show them off.  Check back in a few days for their sneak peak!

In my effort to try and catch up on blogging, I am slowly making my way through our some of our fall sessions. As you can tell by the beautiful autumn colors in Jennifer & Noah’s engagement session, we met up on a sunny day in November. We started at the Dallas Arboretum to catch some of the fall colors and we weren’t disappointed.

Jennifer & Noah are huge Dallas Stars fans, so we headed to American Airlines next to do some fun stuff in their jerseys. Do you want to know the extent of their devotion to the Dallas Stars? Jennifer was hit in the head with a puck at a game a few weeks ago and while most people would have left with the paramedics, Jennifer refused to go until the game was over. One of the players threw her a towel to stop the bleeding, and the fan that caught the puck after it bounced off of her head was nice enough to give it to Jennifer as a souvenir. Once Noah could finally convince her it was time to go to the hospital, it took 6 stitches to close up the wound. Talk about a dedicated fans, huh? Good thing their wedding is still 8 months away so maybe the scar will be fading by then…
