Photography and the Cowboys – two of my favorite things!

Want to know how I spent my weekend? Saturday was a day off, we did some home projects and had lunch with friends, then dinner with some other friends. Sunday was a different story – I got up at 6AM and drove to Texarkana. Anyone who knows me is aware of my dislike of early mornings, so this must have been something big…

Sunday I spent the day with the Dallas Cowboy marketing team at a Cowboys watching party in Texarkana – definitely worth the early morning! They had one of their trailers with all kinds of Cowboys merchandise for fans to buy and you could get shirts, jerseys, hats etc. We set up the photo system they bought from me and we shot photos for the fans all day. I was working with the marketing guys, training them how to take photos and use the greenscreen and software. Everyone had three photo options: 1. With Coach Phillips 2. With the cheerleaders in the entry tunnel at the beginning of a game 3. On the sidelines.

We watched the 12 o’clock games and we saw the last minute victories of the Rams and Falcons. Then it was time for the Cowboy game. Well, what can I say – the company was good and I had a good Cuban sandwich. Training went well and everyone loved their photos. Unfortunately, the Cowboys lost the game (although they should have won), but the season is still young and the Redskins and Giants lost too. Tony Romo, we hope you get well soon, and Pacman – stay out of trouble. Here is a photo with me and Coach Phillips – all done greenscreen.
