I am used to blinks but…
So what is it about animals lately while I am photographing? Tanya and I have had some Canadian friends visiting this week, so we took them down to the Stockyards to see the cattle run. I was photographing J.R. and Pete with my new ringflash. Pete’s the horse and he kept blinking. Kinda funny. I decided to write a quick blog and show you a couple of photos from it.
This past week has been a big week for us. The week started with us celebrating my birthday on Monday – I am now 44 years young 🙂 Our friends from Edmonton arrived on Tuesday to celebrate American Thanksgiving with us so we spent a few days doing the typical tourist stuff – the Stockyards, the grassy knoll, the black Friday sales, etc. Thursday was of course Thanksgiving (otherwise known as Turkey Day in our house) and we had about 20 people here for dinner, including 9 Canadians. We devoured 2 deep-fried turkeys, a spiral ham, countless side dishes and desserts, and a good time was had by all! To finish off the week, we are going to the Stars/Oilers game tonight with our friends from Edmonton – can’t wait! Tanya and I hope everyone a had a great Thanksgiving and safe travels for those who are heading home today.
