We’ve had the great pleasure of getting to know Amber & Teddy over the past few months and we couldn’t wait until their wedding. They were married yesterday by Amber’s grandfather (who, coincidentally, performed the ceremony for one of our 2009 couples, Kelley & Tory) at a stunning outdoor wedding on her grandparent’s property. The theme was rustic vintage, complete with a vintage red sofa for the photo booth. I know our blog has been horribly neglected in the past several months, so last night’s wedding will be followed up this week with some Photo Booth fun, as well as Amber & Teddy’s engagement session and Amber’s bridal pics. Enjoy!

In keeping with our quest to try and catch up on the blog, we present you with… Monica & Dhar! We enjoyed their wedding so much, we were a little sad when it was over. Hopefully this will be the start of a lot of blogging…
Some of Monica’s beautiful details – we especially loved the photos of her grandmothers she had tied to her bouquet.
Dhar, handsome as always. Well, what do you expect? He is Canadian, after all 🙂
Some of my absolute favorite moments during the wedding are the few solitary moments the bride has with her father right before they walk up the aisle, and those first few seconds after the newlyweds leave the ceremony.
Yay for our pretty Texas skies at sunset – there were no clouds, but a gorgeous blue sky with a tiny hint of purple.
Gorgeous location for the cakes – Susan and her crew at the Las Colinas Country Club were fantastic as always!
Monica is a dancer and a figure skater, so there was a LOT of fun on the dance floor
At the end of the night, with Shout blasting on the dance floor, their surprise departure arrived – a helicpoter! We were in on the secret along with Monica, Dhar, and Monica’s mom – everyone else was in for a big surprise!
We would like to thank everyone who came out this Sunday to see us at the Star-Telegram Bridal Show at the Ft Worth Convention Center. It is always fun to chat with so many excited new brides (and grooms)! Our booth was pretty packed most of the day, so if you stopped by but didn’t have a chance to talk to us, please drop us an email and we will arrange a time to get together! Our show specials will be available until the end of February so you still have time to get in on the deals.
A HUGE thanks goes out to our friends Dan & John who helped me out this weekend. Bill was in San Antonio for the annual Professional Photographers of America Convention, so Dan & John were kind enough to help me set up on Saturday. Dan also worked the booth with me all day on Sunday, and to top things off Dan drove my loaded car home while John took me to the airport to meet up with Bill at ImagingUSA. Thank you soooo much, I couldn’t have done it without you guys!
Finally, we would like to say Congratulations to Stefanie who is getting married in September – she has won a FREE engagement session!
Nikki & Colt tied the knot last night is a beautiful sunset ceremony at the amazing Hotel Galvez in Galveston. There was plenty of laughter of love to go around, and as Nikki & Colt head off to Hawaii for their honeymoon, we wanted to give them a quick peek at a few wedding photos.
Well, I still haven’t gotten around to blogging Nikki & Colt’s engagement session – and they are getting married today!!!! BUT, we had such a blast at their rocking rehearsal dinner cruise last night that I had to throw a few quick photos up on the blog. In all honesty, their rehearsal dinner was a bigger party than some of the more reserved wedding receptions we have been too. We are really looking forward to tonight’s reception – and maybe just a little scared :).
I think this is the first time we have had a cake cutting at a rehearsal dinner. It is hard to go wrong with cake, so we are totally in favor.
And you know the party is getting started when the conga line starts…

After 2 years of planning, Jennifer & Noah finally tied the knot last night at the Piazza in the Village. They met for the first time in the 9th grade and one of their first dates was that year’s homecoming dance. That should have been the start of a wonderful romance, but they ended up going to different schools and they lost touch. It must have been fate, because they ran into each other again in their senior year of high school and they have been together ever since.
