As promised, a few more photos! Forgot to include this one in yesterday’s post. Just hanging out with the studio owners in Martha’s Vineyard at a well-known local hangout, the P.A. Club. I love how this shot turned out, takes me back to my days of sports photography.
I left Martha’s Vineyard yesterday afternoon and headed back to Plymouth to spend one last night with Ruth & Dana, so I had a chance to snap a few pics around town. For anyone who hasn’t been to Plymouth, it is a beautiful historic town and is a great place to spend your vacation, more info here.
The gravestone of Edward Gray is the oldest original stone still standing on Burial Hill, Plymouth, MA reads as follows:
“Here Lyeth ye Body of EDWARD GRAY Gent Aged About 52 years & Departd this life ye Last of June 1681”
This is the oldest church in the United States in continuous operation, the First Parish Church of Plymouth, founded in 1620.
And of course, no trip to Plymouth is complete without a few shots of the main attractions – the Mayflower…
…and Plymouth Rock. Good thing they found a rock with 1620 on it to land on since that was the year they landed. Quite the coincidence 🙂
I think Tanya will be back on her feet today after a tough week of dental issues, so stay tuned for some long-overdue posts of engagements and weddings!
