We are so excited about this weekend we can hardly wait to get up tomorrow morning, but I want to back up a tiny bit before we talk about this weekend. This has been a crazy busy week, as is typical this time of year, but we had a fun distraction last weekend when we got to teach photography to our local Girl Scout troop. We had 8 aspiring photographers who wanted to learn about photography in order to earn their photography merit badge. We had a great time with them and they did a great job with their available light headshots they took of each other!
Now, back to this weekend… to start off with tomorrow is the first day of our two-day event with NBC5i and Telemundo at the New You Expo at the Fort Worth Convention Center. We will be at the NBC/Telemundo booth from noon to 3:00 on Saturday and 12:30 to 3:30 on Sunday doing green screen photos. If you don’t get your chance to audition for America’s Got Talent, come on by and have your photo taken as a meteorologist or newscaster – photos are free to the public!
We are meeting up with Kelley & Tory bright and early on Sunday morning to do their engagement session before we head over to the convention center. Anyone who knows Bill is aware that he is not a morning person so I am going to enjoy waking him up at 6AM on Sunday morning :-). We can’t wait to hang out with Kelley and Tory for a while and we REALLY hope that we don’t encounter the cold weather and rain we have had this week (brrrrrr!) Keep your fingers crossed!
The biggest thing this weekend is that Saturday is our niece’s birthday and we wish we could be with her in Colorado to celebrate. As you can tell, we love her very much and are incredibly proud of the woman she as grown into. She had some minor surgery last week and now she can breath easier – yay! Breathing is very important, after all. Happy Birthday Cyra, we love you!
