If you are newly engaged or planning a wedding, then the Gaylord Texan is the place to be next Sunday!  Join us at the Star-Telegram Bridal Show on Sunday August 28, 2011 to see all the latest and greatest in the wedding industry.  We have free passes to give away so drop us a email and we will send you one!  Passes are good for free admission for two people (parking not included).

We are in booth #502 and can’t wait to show off some of our new eye-candy, so stop by and say hi!

We finished off our weekend with the very emotional and touching wedding of Kristen & Logan at the Piazza in the Village.  For a couple who met while shoveling manure for Habitat for Humanity, they sure clean up well :).  They first met as undergrad students at Baylor, so it is only fitting that they will start their married life back at Baylor to start the Master’s degrees.  We’d like to thank Kristen & Logans families for making us feel so welcome and for sharing such an important moment in their lives with us.  Also, a big thank you goes out to Laura and the crew out at Piazza in the Village, they were wonderful to work with (as always!), and to Rod at DFWParties.com for getting the party going!

Ok, I know the wedding just ended a few hours ago, but we had so much fun at Chloe & Thomas’ wedding that I just couldn’t wait to get some pics on the blog.  I also was hoping they would get to see them before they board their flight to Costa Rica tomorrow morning.  We have had a wonderful time getting to know Chloe & Thomas and their families over the past year and it was absolutely delightful for us to see such much love and joy surrounding them on their wedding day.  Thank you for including us in such a special day in your lives, and thank you for having such an inspiring (and very photographically pleasing :)) glow around both of you all day.   Kudos go out to Julie Eastman with Extraordinary Events for the incredible planning and decor, and Random Axis for keeping the dance floor packed all night!

One of the best first dances we have seen in a while (gotta love the look on Chloe’s grandfather’s face during the final dip!)  For those of you who are just “thinking” of having your first dance choreographed, I say Go For It!  Of course, that is only half of it – the other half is to have that undeniable glow of love that shines through all day long…

Our blog post wouldn’t be complete without including some Photo Booth Fun!

Congratulations and we hope you enjoy every moment of your honeymoon!

To start off our double-wedding weekend, we thought it appropriate to do a Photo Booth Fun post! Well, maybe it’s a double-and-a-half if you count tonight’s rehearsal dinner… Anyway…

Stay tuned for some long overdue bridal sessions, and some images from our trip through Eastern Europe – we have so many photos I actually don’t quite know where to start.

Cody & Pat

We have known Agnieszka for years and have photographed her many times, so when she emailed to tell us she was engaged we were over-the-top excited for her.  We finally got to meet Mateusz a few days before the wedding, and we were happy to discover that they are a match made in heaven.   We’ve had an amazing time getting to know Mati as well as his & Aga’s families over the past few days and we can’t thank everyone enough for their hospitality.  Congratulations to Agnieszka & Mateusz and thank you for making us a part of your special day!

Aga & Mati have possibly the coolest wedding rings we have seen in a while – both have a personal inscription (Mati’s on the outside, Aga’s on the inside) and their rings have matching notches so they fit together.  I can’t think of anything more perfect for them.

Last weekend we had the great pleasure of photographing Uyen & Thanh’s wedding, and we were there for every part of it – the tea ceremony in the morning, the afternoon mass, and the party at night (who can pass up a 9-course Vietnamese dinner?).  We had so much fun getting to know their family and friends and I think it is safe the say that not only was the decor at Thanh Thanh stunning, EVERYONE had a blast!

Gotta respect a flower girl who knows when it is time to take a nap 🙂
