Amy & Greg’s Japanese-Texan Wedding – Wedding Photographer Fort Worth

I photographed Amy & Greg’s wedding almost two months ago, so I figured it is about time I got some of their images on the blog!  Amy & Greg both work in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles and they along with their friends and families are very creative, fun-loving people.  The put a lot of energy into combining their personalities, families and cultures into one amazing event and I was excited to be a small part of their day.  Amy grew up in Arlington and her dad was mayor of Arlington for 10 years – he is responsible for the bringing the Rangers Ballpark to Arlington, so baseball was part of the theme:

Greg is half Japanese (and Amy LOVES the color orange) so the origami birds were the perfect touch:

I love that they had the same smile on their faces in these images as they got ready

Amy & Greg’s ceremony took place at the Living Science Center – I love where the sun was for the processional, it made the bridesmaids’ orange dresses pop out. The Science Center was also a very special location for their wedding because Amy’s mom is the former president of the River Legacy Foundation and she was integral in developing the park and educational center.

Right after the ceremony – always one of my favorite moments

It wouldn’t be a Texan wedding if someone wasn’t wearing cowboy boots – even better if its the bride & groom!

Then we headed over to Legends Museum at the Ballpark

And of course, a wedding at the Ballpark wouldn’t be complete without some photos in the stands.  The green hill behind Amy & Greg is named in honor of Amy’s dad.

  • Amy - Do you know where or can you find out where they got their baseball from? I have been looking around but I can’t find a place.

  • Tanya - they came from http://www.mini-baseballs.com – hope that helps!
