We headed south last weekend to check out the Texas Renaissance Festival and it was quite an experience. We go every year to meet up with our good friends Jene & Sandra and their daughter Chardonnay and we do their annual family portraits on the grounds. They own the Fredericksburg Winery which explains the name – I love it! I will post a few pics from the session later this week but in the meantime here are a few fun snapshots:

We ran into our friend Kristie (photo courtesy of Kristie – thanks for emailing it :-). Hope to see you again soon! We are such photo geeks – both carrying cameras, Bill carrying a big camera bag… I even carried a reflector around all day.

And we saw LOTS of people in very elaborate costumes. I loved the look of these two women – adorable costumes!  I spent the day trying to guess what people do in real life, so I figured these two ladies to be an accountant and a teacher… what do you think?
